The Western scientific perspective describes hemorrhoids or piles as varicosities of hemorrhoidal plexus veins complicated by inflammation, thrombosis and bleeding. Under the anal and rectal mucosas, a number of veins act as collateral connections between the portal and the systemic venous systems. These hemorrhoidal veins lack valves so that increases in intra-abdominal pressure can readily bring about varicosities and other venous injuries. Symptoms include bleeding following defecation, protrusion of the veins and pain. Internal hemorrhoids are multiple, soft, purple, irregularly shaped masses covered by a thin rectal mucous membrane which may be ulcerated and bleeding as the principal sign or symptom..
This dysfunction also arises in part from an irregular diet made worse by fried, hot-spicy food, lack of fruits and vegetable to provide dietary fiber. Other causative factors include sitting too much, carrying too much weight, and walking for too long a distance all of which can lead to Qi and Blood stagnation in the anus. I love this seller and feel compelled to write a review on two of their products. First of all,the shipping was extremely fast considering the order actually arrived in my mailbox the day it was supposed to ship from them.
I used a total of two hemorrhoid products......The first was for bleeding which took about a week or slightly longer to do it's job.
The Hemorrhoid DX treatment followed and gave me very quick relief from the burning and itching. After about three or four more weeks, my hemorrhoids were completely gone!

| This product is a God sent! I have suffered from hemorrhoids for years and have always been told to live with them or have surgery. They have gotten so bad they wake me up in my sleep! I bought this product on line one late night after my "problem" woke me up. In a week, I felt relief and in two I had no signs of hemorrhoids after 4 years!
